self hate is alcohol, you're drunk or you're sober

Kendra. twenty three. Ottawa. astoundingly average. i live a pantsfree existence. this is a kpop appreciation zone, y'all have been warned.

gosh i haven’t written one of these in ages
hello! i’m kendra! this is me.  this is also me. here’s the run down:
i’m 23, and i live in ottawa with my best friend of eleven years. i work at a bookstore, i am very, very good at my job, and i complain a lot about retail. sometimes i’m kind of confused how i’ve lasted this long since i have a raging hate on for people. i go to school! i just finished a year of part time, hoping to get back into it full time. fingers crossed etc!!
i have a fairly wide variety of interests that my blog in no way represents. this is an all kpop all the time channel. i post a lot and i don’t really regret that at all! i also don’t tag it cause it’s literally 95% of what i post and if you don’t want to see it you are perhaps best off following someone else. groups/people you will see include infinite, exo, b.a.p., bigbang, tablo, 2ne1, beast, m.i.b., block b, spica, miss a, wonder girls, dalmatian, hello venus, glam, nu’est, and sunny hill. exciting right. my biases oughta be pretty obvious too (atm hoya, kai, joonmyun and kris).
outside of kpop, i watch a lot of movies! i really enjoy mindless violence and i have a particular fondness of horror and zombies. seriously, i have a ton of horror feelings (old but still mostly relevant). i also watch a ton of tv. i don’t vouch for the quality of said tv (currently enjoying teen wolf and leverage) but i like it a lot and i watch a lot. thanks to work, i read a lot of books as well, and my tastes run towards the weird and slightly morbid (John Dies in the End, The Gone-Away World, House of Leaves). also graphic novels/comics. my taste tends to run away from standard superhero comics, but i read those too. i’ve just wanted to be tank girl since i was like thirteen.
other things i enjoy include:
henry rollins
porcelain black
french bulldogs
every time i die
body mods
jeremy renner’s ass
tea
my best bro in the whole entire world
starkid
nail polish
i mention this occasionally, but i’m mentally ill. i deal with moderate depression and anxiety on a daily basis and have for four years now. it’s no big deal really, but it is a fairly important part of who i am now, and what i’m dealing with. i am 100% open about it and willing to talk about it, so if you have questions, ask away. i really don’t mind talking about it!
don’t be afraid to say hello! my askbox is always open (and anon enabled) and i like chatting. if you’d like my aim or email, just ask! my twitter is over here (like 75% bitching about work though, so do be prepared).
i am an excellent friend and an excellent person to follow.
in conclusion:

there is no such thing as shame. no really.
